As I stare into the thin layer of moving water, the dark space combines with the liquid to create an image of my upper body that reflects back to my eyes. This reflection however is one tainted by the darkness, and I see myself as a mere silhouette, blurred at the edges.

Water drops around me, onto the liquid which my silhouetted reflection is created in. This creates strange, surreal shapes in my reflected body, and at that moment my eyes open fully, and suddenly my other half is gone. All I see is dim light shining from the water into my eyes.

I try to see my reflection again, so enthralled as I was by the effect, the seeming want of my soul to see a darker version of myself. I squint my eyes in an almost childish effort to reproduce my previous bodily state, but to no avail. Frustrated by the loss of this other vision, I stand in the sound of water falling around me, calming me. I step out of the water. And then I stop. I think. I dream again.

I "experienced" this quite recently, and realised it would make a good perspectives story, as I quite enjoyed writind DayDream, and thought I'd try it again.

Good work.
Once again you have a talent for capturing fine details along with sharp and flowing words.
I especially like this line "This reflection however is one tainted by the darkness, and I see myself as a mere silhouette, blurred at the edges."very good and has got me thinking about many tiny individual things along with the details and feelings of the easy life ie dreams.
Yep good work.4D.

Not sure if I like this as much as DayDream, and it was less planned, the effect is not quite as strong in my opinion.
